The Eco Eagles is a group of middle school students dedicated to caring for the environment. They work hard to clean up the neighborhood, plant trees and shrubs where possible, pick up litter and raise awareness. These students volunteer for projects and understand that transforming their communities and the world starts with them.
“It’s disgusting how people leave trash everywhere,” said Emily, 13. “This place has so much potential to be better than what it is, but people need to take action.”
Community supporters of the Eco Eagles include the New York Botanical Garden and the NBA.
