Find Your Part in the Partnership

We understand that closing the education gap is not just about providing an excellent education in the classroom, but also exposure and experiences outside the classroom. We are developing a volunteer base made of men and women who want a hands-on experience with Immaculate Conception and our students, and we would love for you to join.

ICS offers a variety of ways you can help and connect our students to new experiences. You can organize a library, judge a spelling bee, supervise an after-school activity, participate in Career Day or simply read to our children. You can also connect your interests to our students whether through your association with a cultural institution, sports team, or profession. Volunteering is entirely up to you – it is impactful, personal and a thoughtful way to get involved in the lives of our students. We will work with you to figure out what makes the most sense for both you and our students.

Volunteers can be helpful in a variety of ways. Currently we are seeking tutors for struggling students, field trip sponsors and chaperones, and fundraising events. We also could use help with upcoming dances and festivals in the spring. Whether you have one hour every other month or every week, your time is valued and put to good use each and every time you lend a hand.

To learn more about how you can be part of ICS, please contact Christina Noland, Admissions and Development Associate, [email protected] or call 718-585-4843 ext. 100. We look forward to hearing from you.
