Dear Parents,  
 

Greeting from Immaculate!  Before the year gets away from us I’d like to highlight a few important reminders and events.   
 

• May 15 – The final tuition payment #10 is due in New Jersey by May 15.  No personal

checks will be accepted at school after May 23rd..  All year end bills need to paid by

June 2nd.   No report cards will be issued unless all bills have been paid.  Thank you for taking care of this in a timely fashion. 
 

• June 5th – ICS Talent Festival will be held outdoors in the ICS Garden at 6:00 PM.  Many students will be performing, including the Eagle Band, the Step Team, our 8^th grade musicians, selected poets and many others.  There will also be hot dogs, soda, snacks and crafts to purchase as well as a 50/50 raffle, door prizes and more! Admission will be $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children (over 4) who are not participating. The money raised will be used to pay for new Social Studies books for Grades 1-6.  Come and join the ICS community for an evening of fun and entertainment and help raise money for a great cause!  Special surprise guest appearance….

 
 

SUMMER SCHOOL notices will be going out the last week of May.   As I indicated in my September letter the following students MUST attend summer school: 

1. Students who fail a major subject for the year
2. Students who score below the 30^th percentile in Math, Reading or Language Arts on the ITBS tests.
3. Students who score a 1 or 2 on the 4^th and 8^th grade ELA or Math state tests.

Teachers will also recommend participation in summer school for some students who have passing grades but need extra reinforcement over the summer. Summer school runs from June 30-July 24^th.

(8:45-12:00) and registration begins on June 2nd in the school office. The fee is $165. for the 4 weeks.   
 

UNIFORM - Students may wear the uniform shorts for Gym and the dark blue shorts for the regular uniform.  These can be purchased in the school stationary store.  In the school handbook it clearly states that current hair fads are not permitted here.  That would include the designs or lettering cut into the boys’ hair.  These are not allowed at ICS.  Thank you for your cooperation.
