Over the past few years, ICS has undertaken several significant projects. We’ve completely refurbished the girls’ playground, created the Library Media Center, and just this past summer, finished the Science Lab. Now it’s time to make sure that our students have the proper supplies to fully take advantage of our great resources. This year, we are focusing on updating our technology and textbooks. Computers are in every classroom at ICS. The teachers have fully integrated technology into the curriculum. Unfortunately, many of our computers are considerably out-dated. This year, we would like to replace or update our computers and obtain several new printers. In addition, ICS needs to purchase new textbooks for many of our classes. We are constantly trying to replace our books as scientific discoveries, world events, and curriculum changes render the existing books obsolete. We would especially like to buy new Science and Social Studies books this year.
